How an office starts

Four decisions, then a Wednesday crate.

  1. Pick a brew methodMostly black coffee suits a filter brewer: about A$2,300–4,500 ex GST to buy and install. Milk-heavy teams need espresso.
  2. Count who is inStaff in on a typical workday, not total payroll. The planner turns that into kilograms.
  3. Own, buy or rentRental is priced for offices up to 100 people. Larger teams get a quote.
  4. Learn one routineA 90-minute session for up to four people: grind, brew, clean, reorder.

Questions offices ask

Before you sign anything.

What if fewer people come in on Fridays?
Plan for a typical day, then order less in a quiet week. There is no weekly minimum for bean-only supply.
Filter or espresso?
If most of the team drinks black coffee, a filter brewer is cheaper to buy and easier to clean. If most drink flat whites and lattes, you need espresso.
What happens at 51 people?
Rental moves to the next band, A$75–110 a week ex GST. The coffee is priced by the kilogram either way.
Who fixes the machine?
Gus triages faults Monday to Saturday. On a rented machine, repairs follow the rental provider’s terms.
Can we end the rental?
Yes, the proposed term is month to month with 30 days’ notice. Return of the machine is quoted with the rental.
